Practical Information.

On Thursday Oct. 2, the lectures take place in the Novotel Ieper Centrum hotel, and on Friday Oct. 3, the hands-on exercises take place at the Keros ET Center in Beselare.

Arrival (Wednesday or Thursday)

The lectures will begin on Thursday at 9:00 AM sharp, with registration and welcome starting at 8:30 AM at the Novotel Ieper Centrum Hotel.
We highly recommend attending the "Last Post" ceremony at 20:00 on Wednesday. Since 1928, this solemn tribute has been performed every evening under the imposing arches of the Menin Gate, honoring the soldiers who fought around Ypres during World War I.
After the Last Post ceremony, we invite all participants and accompanying persons to join us for an informal dinner at one of the many restaurants in Ypres’ market square (just a 4-minute walk from the Menin Gate). This will be a great opportunity to connect with fellow participants and instructors. (Please note that this dinner is optional and not included in the course fee. Reservation is necessary.)
Additionally, we recommend visiting the In Flanders Fields Museum, the Yper Museum, and the Hooge Crater Museum in Ypres, as well as the Passchendaele Museum in Zonnebeke.

Day 1 - Thursday - Lectures

We will gather in the meeting room of the Novotel Ieper Centrum Hotel between 8:30 and 9:00. Lectures will start promptly at 9:00.

All participants and instructors are invited to dinner at the Les Halles restaurant in Ypres (dinner is included in the registration fee). If you have any dietary preferences or requirements (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, or other), please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs. Accompanying persons are welcome to join us for dinner. Kindly notify us in advance so we can adjust the reservations accordingly.
